You should look for infos at the japanese embassy of your country, they have information about that.

OP already lives in Japan, which makes this thread look even more strange. S/He sounds as if s/he didn't know what the national language of the country was.

She appears to have an Arab inscription on her personal photo, so she may hail from that area as well.... the font is kind of annoying-it's size anyway....

I've never heard of a university having a department of x-ray. Do you mean medical department or physics department or biology department?

princessmarisa 01-16-2011 06:43 PM

The subject of studying x-rays is called radiology I think.

It is normally part of medical departments in Universities.

So try searching for that instead.

Can your friend post here themselves?

I presume if they want to do a masters in something in England that they have a good standard of English so we might be able to explain and understand better.

I also am not sure that you would be able to study such a specialist subject in Japan, that is taught using English. You would probably have to go to a University in an English speaking country.

Sarugetchu 01-17-2011 01:09 PM

You can infact do a Masters in a Japanese University in English, especially in Biological areas such as Radiology. Look at the Tokyo University website and others' foreign section for requirements, but usually they are simply under the term "Biological Sciences", and then you specialize after being accepted.

I am applying for a Biological masters in Japan currently. If you are not from a native English speaking country however, you must present evidence of being fluent in English through the likes of TOEFL, I believe.

Hope this helps.
