question about a surname

So I wanted to know what the kanji for my last name is (ebisuya) so I asked my grandma and she said it was 胡屋 but i can't get it to type out like that unless i say "goya" and she's only guessing. my previous sensei thought I was okinawan, but my family is originally from yamaguchi. also i heard that it was more common in the edo era. does anyone know if it's right? or does anyone know about this name?

胡屋 is read えびすや. It's a rare name but it does exist.
