申し込む

Hi, I have a question regarding "申し込む" which I do not understand. "申し込む" is consider as an intransitive verb if I am not wrong, so I can understand why number 1 and 2 used particle "に". But I cannot understand why number 3, 4 and 5 used particle "を"? Please kindly enlighten me.



1. 有料のクラスに申し込む

2. インターンシップに申し込む

3. オンラインでローンを申し込む

4. クレジットカードを申し込む

5. 住宅を申し込む

You are wrong.

Sample sentences from the dictionary on my computer (大辞泉) include:
彼はメアリーに結婚を申し込んだ
わがチームは彼らに野球の試合を申し込んだ
図書館建設に10万円の寄付を申し込んだ

The equivalent in English is intransitive, but the Japanese is transitive.
