Can't help you much with the incense holder thing, but I can answer your other question.
shibaraku: for some time, awhile e.g. shibaraku omachi kudasai. (Please wait for a while) - This can be said by the store person to the customer whether in person or over the phone. shibaraku deshita ne. (It has been a while..{since I last saw you}) - Said between friends. ohisashiburi: after a long while/absense e.g. ohisashiburi desu ne. (It has been ages since I last you, isn't it?) - Basically, we use this phrase to greet someone that we have not met for a long time. |
