I do not understand japanese at all and I feel sorry, because it fascinates me. The symbols, the phonetics, etc...
I am writing this opening thread, being my first post, to ask for help in translating a very little text size.

I do not trust in online translators for oriental languages or arabic languages. Besides, what I want translated is a image and I can't find any GOOD OCR to decode it, if I may say.

So, if there's one single soul out there that can help me and the person that asked me to find out, it will be very appreciated.

I have framed the japanese text and bulletted it with numbers for an easy translation display. If anyone want to help me, please follow the numbers of each text. I'll post the link below of the image. What I know about it it's from an international competition of gastronomy occurred in Osaka in late 1969.

The man in white was a professional portuguese chef, already deceased and his son is the person that wants it translated in a kind of honor to him. (Just click the pic to open in a greater dimension)

1 is the proper name (brand name) of the drug.
2 is an adjective phrase of 1.
2 →１ , according the Japanese grammar rule; when written vertically, one should read from right to left.

If you choose a stomach drug, choose Apeeru which makes your stomach in motion.

This propaganda was produced in 1970, for sure.

About Apell/Appelt/Appell/Appert, surely it is not the cook's name... lol the word isn't even portuguese. He's name is Eduardo dos Santos Machado as you translated in nr. 8. The nr. 6 is just that I was presumed to be... the cook made "Carne de Porco Alentejana" receipt as I could see by the presented dish... eheheh.

Also, for your reference, supperman is a native Japanese speaker; I am not.
