My English for Your Japanese -
07-03-2011, 06:48 PM
Unfortunately, there are no resources around me where I can familiarize myself with Japanese. And I am not too fond of the idea of paying USD $500 per credit hour to take just the Japanese course at our local college.
I have a very strong background in English and grammar. While I have no formal credentials to prove my competency in the Language, I assure that I am fully capable of teaching proper English; both conversational and literary, as well as formal and informal. As well as the patience and skill to teach it to another person. However, due to my lack of experience in actually teaching it to another person, I would prefer that my potential student have at least some grasp of English otherwise we would be stuck behind a language barrier. This is due in part to my next to complete ignorance in Japanese. I know some basic words and phrases, from romaji. I understand this request may be rather difficult but I'm sure there are circumstances which may allow this to work. Somehow. If so, please contact me so we can make arrangements. I do have Skype so that might, also, assist with the learning process. Below is a vocal sample of my ability to pronounce different symbols, words and phrases. I know it's not that great, but it's an example of where I'm at in the learning process. Click here for sample. :Edit: Also, if I'm going about this the wrong way, additional insight would be most appreciated. |
