wow I never thought that it would mean like that.

I even asked all my Japanese friends and they said it is an unusual sentence .. that was a nice one :)

I feel once again overwhelmed by the magical power of our particles. As in the two sentences that I used for this particular discussion, it is the little single-syllable particles 「に」 and 「で」 (and not as much the other longer words) that enable us to tell what each sentence means even without any context.

I got this feedback from a Japanese for #2. so I am just sharing this one:

He said , that most of the time 日本でくる, "kuru" is written in Hiragana as to avoid confusion with the usual meaning of kuru.
