Another quick translation ^_^ - 04-28-2007, 12:32 PM

Konnichi wa. Sorry for all these questions. I just need help translating one thing.

In answer to " Sukina Kamouku wa nan desuka" "What is your favirote subject?"

I want to say, I like Japanese, because Ienjoy it and because I'm going to live in Japan when I'm older.

It would be...

"(Nihon?) ga suki! Tanoshii to ( I want to live there when I'm older) Kara."

Thanks for the help. And sorry for al these questions ^_6

Do you like Japanese people = Nihonjin or the Japanese language = Nihongo ?

Nihongo wa tanoshii to Nihon [h]e tenkiyoshitai kara (dai)suki desu

Japanese is fun & I want to move to Japan so I (love)/ Like it.

Tanoshii to Nihon [h]e tenkiyoshitai kara Nihongo ha ore no ichiban suki na kamoku

As it is fun & I want to move to Japan, Japanese is my favourite subject.

I'm by no way an expert on Japanese but this is what I would say

I'm sorry Abasio, I beg to differ. The translation that you had given out is really mumbo-jumbo. Try this.
Nihongo ga tanoshii kara, suki desu. Sore ni toshi o tottara Nihon ni sumitai desu.
Sore ni = besides
sumu = live, sumitai = wish to live (in)
toshi o toru = getting older
Note: Salvanas, this may not be the best way to say but as a translation to your english text, this is as close as it can get.

Hokkaido e ikitai........
