Help translating english to japanese

Hi, I have a Japanese style tattoo and would like to get the saying "Life is a beautiful struggle" written in Japanese vertically down the underside of my forearm. I understand that there are several types of Japanese writing and i am lookin for it to be written in the most beautiful way possible. Can any one help me please?

is the best phrase I can think of right now.
