Help with grammar needed for presentation
Hi,
I'm currently working on a presentation for Japanese class that needs me to talk about the Tohoku region and advertise/promote it. Just need some help on how to say some things, im still working on the script so i may have more questions to ask later on: (1) Just needed to know, i want to say "Tohoku is approximately 67000 square kilometers, and is about 17% of japan". Would i go: "Tohoku wa 67000 heihou kirometoru gurai de, nihon no 18 pasento gurai desu"? Sorry it's in romaji, not on my PC atm so can't type in Jap :p Appreciate all the help, thank you very much in advance! |
"Tohoku wa 67000 heihou kirometoru gurai de, nihon no 18 pasento gurai desu"
It is correct in grammar. But you seem to aim more higher level. 東北地方の面積は67,000平方キロメートルで、日本全体の 17%にあたります。 I prefer to divide it into two senses. 東北地方の面積は67,000平方キロメートルです。これは日 本全体の17%にあたります。 |
