Could somebody help me please??
Hello everybody! how are you?
I'm new in here, i hope we can get along nicely! I've been learning Japanese since last year. I like it very much, i always do my best in order to improve my skills. I've managed to make some japanese friends through the net, the reason why i'm posting here is because one of the sentences included in a friend's letter, here it is: 10代の若い女の子がよくあるよ。あまり仕事をしてい る人はしない。 I understand it more or less..i hope somebody can help me... ill browse other people posts to see if i can help later |

In fact i wanted to know the context of both sentences... The weird thing is that she wrote that at the top of the 3rd page, however they are not linked to the text on the previous page, neither to the text after the sentences...what shoul i do? x____x i want to send her another letter already, so i might just ignore this sentence right? :) |
I can't tell you what to do, but if this sentence has nothing to do with the previous and following sentences, then I would ignore it.

Thank you so much again!!
I have another little question, but i don't want to bother you....so i'll keep it for later. Have a good day n____n |
Ok... just go ahead and ask...I'll check back tomorrow....

Ok, here's my question Sometimes (since we first met) she would say things like あなたの事が好き あなたの事が大好きだよ やさしいラウール君(that's me lol)が大好きだよ I understood the meaning of the sentences, what i don't understand is the context of the sentences, is it normal to say this to a friend?? I just joined this forum and i'm already loving it! Thanks |
Answers don't always come so quick, but the timing was right.
It depends of the personality of the person, but USUALLY these are phrases said by someone in a romantic relationship with another person. I have also heard them used by maybe slightly more outgoing girls to boys, but it might be considered flirty/teasing. Hope that helps... |

It's just that i wanted to know the context of them all.I know these phrases are used for someone who's more than a friends, that's why i was surprised when she told me the 1st sentence, since we are just friends. We met like 3 months ago, and i can say she's a very nice girl. She's very cute as well! She wants to come to mexico someday, and i don't know what im gonna do when that happens, since im not so fluent speaking japanese though my pronuntiation is good. Your answer was VERY helpful indeed! Now i know i might not be crazy when i thought those phrases were more than a compliment. take care n____n |
