I was looking forward to a translation of bluebird song (naruto shippuden), I've seen many translations of the whole world, but I'd like a translation of it word by word, here are the lyrics:
Habataitara modoranai to itte Mezashita no wa aoi aoi ano sora "Kanashimi" wa mada oboerarezu "Setsunasa" wa ima tsukami hajimeta Anata e to daku kono kanjou mo Ima "kotoba" ni kawatte iku Michi naru sekai no yume* kara mezamete Kono hane wo hiroge tobitatsu Habataitara modoranai to itte Mezashita no wa shiroi shiroi ano kumo Tsukinuketara mitsukaru to shitte Furikiru hodo aoi aoi ano sora Aoi aoi ano sora Aoi aoi ano sora Aisou sukita you na oto de Sabireta furui mado wa kowareta Miakita kago wa hora sutete iku Furikaeru koto wa mou nai Takanaru kodou ni kokyuu wo azukete** Kono mado wo kette tobitatsu Kakedashitara te ni dekiru to ittte Izanau no wa tooi tooi ano koe Mabushi sugita anata no te mo nigitte Motomeru hodo aoi aoi ano sora Ochite iku to wakatte ita Soredemo hikari wo oi tsudzukete iku yo Habataitara modoranai to itte Sagashita no wa shiroi shiroi ano kumo Tsukinuketara mitsukaru to shitte Furikiru hodo aoi aoi ano sora Aoi aoi ano sora Aoi aoi ano sora I've translated the song until "Aisou sukita", but there are some holes: Habataitara - If you flap your wings Modoranai - You'd never return back to - looks like a prep. to me, how is it used? itte - to Say Mezashita - headed no wa - towards (what does each of them mean by themselves) aoi - blue ano - that sora - sky Kanashimi - sadness mada - yet Oboerarezu - remember Setsunasa - Feeling of sadness (Is there's a difference between it and kanashimi?) ima = just tsukami - grasp hajimeta - first time or started (Unsure) Anata - Even e - ??? to -??? idaku - to have kono - this kanjou - feelings mo - you? Ima - now Kotoba - word ne - ? kawatteku - changing michi - unknown? naru - become? sekai - world no - ? yume - dream mezamete = awaken note: michi naru sekai no yume kara mezamete is translated in most places (As you awaken from an unknown world, but naru seems a little off-place for that) kono = ? hane = wings hiroge = open/widen (you need to add a verb after this) tobi datsu = fly (what does tobi and datsu mean individually?) shiroi = clouds kumo = white tsukinuketara = break through/penetrate mitsukaru = be found shitte = know anything Furikru = ? Hodo = ? Can anyone check my translations, fill the holes and help with translating the other part of the song, I'll be very very grateful thank you. |

When written in ROMAJI, Japanese words are tough to read for Japanese people (at least for me). Let me write ROMAJI in UPPER CASE.
As I don't recognize this song, I will check (a part of) your translation. > HABATAITARA - If you flap your wings > MODORANAI - You'd never return back > TO - looks like a prep. to me, how is it used? > ITTE - to Say > MEZASHITA - headed > NO WA - towards (what does each of them mean by themselves) > AOI - blue > ANO - that > SORA - sky "<A:Japanese> TO ITTE" should be translated as "Saying that <A:English>". Total translation of this part would be "'I will not go back once I started.' saying that, I started toward that blue sky.". > KANASHIMI - sadness
> MADA - yet > OBOERAREZU - remember > SETSUNASA - Feeling of sadness (Is there's a difference between it and kanashimi?) > IMA = just > TSUKAMI - grasp > HAJIMETA - first time or started (Unsure) > ANATA - Even > E - ??? > TO -??? > IDAKU - to have > KONO - this > KANJOU - feelings > MO - you? > IMA - now > KOTOBA - word > NE - ? > KAWATTEKU - changing "OBOERU" could be "覚える:Recognize" different from "憶える:Remember". ”SETSUNASA(noun form of 切ない:SETSUNAI)” is difficult word to translate into western language. It sounds like as sadness but has more deep meaning with finding limit of oneself. > ANATA - Even > E - ??? > TO -??? It could be "Towarding you" even wrong as English grammar. > MO - you? "MO" is "also" used as same as "HA(pronounced as WA)" > NE - ? Isn't it "NI"? Total translation would be "My feeling is also to be changed into words to you who is just finding feeling of SETSUNASA not feeling sadness yet." > MICHI - unknown?
> NARU - become? > SEKAI - world > NO - ? > YUME - dream > MEZAMETE = awaken > KONO = ? > HANE = wings > HIROGE = open/widen (you need to add a verb after this) > TOBI DATSU = fly (what does tobi and datsu mean individually?) > SHIROI = clouds > KUMO = white > TSUKINUKETARA = break through/penetrate > MITSUKARU = be found > TO (added ) > SHITTE = know anything > FURIKIRU = ? (modified) > HODO = ? > NO - ? "<A:Japanese> NO <B:Japanese>" => "<B:English> of <A:Japanese>". > KONO = ? "this". > TOBI DATSU = fly (what does tobi and datsu mean individually?) It could be "TOBI TATSU", "TOBI DASU" or "TABI" "DATSU". Anyway it means leaving from somewhere. I found it is "TOBI TATSU". > SHIROI = clouds > KUMO = white should be >> SHIROI = white >> KUMO = clouds > FURIKRU = ? I can not recognize it as Japanese word. Found it "Furikiru". Translation: Awaken from the dream of unknown world, started flying with widened these wings. I gave up here. It is time consuming too much for me.
