"そう言う" vs "そんな" - 05-08-2018, 10:55 AM

"そう言う" vs "そんな"

Is there any difference between the two? If so can you explain it, please?

Both have almost same meaning as "such as" in casual form.

"そんな:SON'NA" is little bit more casual than "そういう:SOUIU".

I remember one case where these words have difference.

"そういうこと!:SOUIU-KOTO" means "yes, it is!" while "そんなこと:SON'NA-KOTO" means just "something like that".
