aa !? atashini nihongo de tatakau ki ? baka nakotoshiteruto tsuu meni auyo

Thats what it says when I use the romaji translator.

Eomer 10-14-2007 01:55 AM

"アァ!?あたしに日本語で戦う気?馬鹿なことしてると痛 目にあうよ。"

{Romaji:- Aa!? atashi ni nihongo de tatakau ki? baka na koto shiteru to itai me ni au yo.}

<Ehh!! fight with me in Japanese?? if you do something silly like that, it might be painful for you.>

I get a little nervous when people say then need to see the Japanese in katakana for them to translate, as that is the opposite of normal logic. If it is written in katakana, it is harder to understand. The kanji is what gives it clear meaning.

アァ!?あたしに日本語で戦う気?馬鹿なことしてると痛だ ?目にあうよ

Huh? You want to challenge me in Japanese? Doesn't this hurt? Here comes the pain.

The text was a little corrupted, so I think it made you give a bad translation. The correct text should be this:

アァ!?あたしに日本語で戦う気?馬鹿なことしてると痛い 目にあうよ

Eomer's translation is pretty close.

Yeah, people are pretty close on their translations.

Huh?! You want to [throw down/ fight] me in Japanese? You'll get hurt ["pwned" I think is how the young kids say it] if you try something silly like that!

Tatakau = fight (literally fight), throw down, go at it
Itai me ni au = get burned, feel pain, get hurt, get owned/pwned
痛い目に遭う

HTH.
