i was motivated to learn japanese when i heard about a program to go 5moths to Japan, and im learning by myself in Japanese Course, im still memorizing the symbols!

WEll, I'm trying to get advice here on this forum and trying to see if I am learning it correctly :P It's a bit stupid to think you learn it good and it really is super bad..

I haven't even tried to find any teachers on this site. It would be good on this site if it was more well known, and maybe there was a voice and text chat, but that's about it. I think paid tutoring is the way to go, since you get an accent over time.

Yeah, I want to get a teacher to but one can only learn japanese if your a adult here in holland you can get it by 2 ways 1. a after highschool education or 2 a university courdse that's called Japese Language and Culture since I'm still a minor I am pretty tied to selfteaching ^^

That's kinda crazy, because the older you get, the harder it is to start a new language.

I think a good way is to just study with people or like just talk to them in all japanese and try to use absolutely no english. I do that when I talk to people on aim/msn. If theres kanji I don't understand I use something to put it into romaji if i still don't understand I use a dictionary. I always check my grammar before I talk as well. I think its worked better then just finding a teacher. Its hard to find where to start then.

Anyone up for voice chats??
