Only the Japanese can pull it off. Speed Racer makes me want to cry... There's also this other live-action American anime movie being made now too. Can't remember what it is, though.

If the Japanese can do it, they should have done it themselves. But they sold the rights to 20th century fox, so they didnt even want to try. They know that if they made that movie, only japanese people will watch it, because not all people can understand japanese or would want to read subtitles.

Weird thing. The movie coming out the day before my birthday, and my mom and friends are forcing me to have a party (Sweet 16). I bet you $50 all of my friends are going to tell me to have my party at the movies. :eek:

No. I don't go to the movies ever and I don't want to pay for something (x5 for a party) I don't have any interest in. DBZ is too boyish and rargh for me.

Wouldn't it be REALLY interesting if a live action Yu-Gi-Oh! was made?! I would DEFINITELY go see that. ♥

I dunno, I think they'll botch up this movie afterall.

I really hope they don't. I mean, I don't mind SOME differences, (like Transformers) as long as the overall movie is kick ass and done well.
Is that hoping too much though?
I'm still keeping my expectations low.

oh well I gess I'm not going to like it, the whole idea of sending goku to high school just doesn't feel rigth, is going to mess up the character's character, don't like the idea at all. now I dont know if I want to see the movie.
I'm going to wait for the oficial trailers and see if they can make me change my opinion about it.
