How much a movie earns has nothing to do with the quality of the film.

Exactly, don't blame hollywood for doing what they are told to do, MAKE A DRAGONBALL MOVIE. Blame the original owners of the series first for selling it to EARN MONEY.

That doesn't make sense

Think about it this way.... if the movie was good... who would we praise? The (Hollywood) directors and producers of course.

We don't praise Tolkien for the Lord of the Rings movies, we praise Peter Jackson... so if they happened to suck we wouldn't slam Tolkien either.

Okay. Just to settle this argument, I just watched the film.

And I can tell you one thing. Even the 7 Dragonballs couldn't make this film good. It was so shit, I almost cried after because they had wasted around 8 years to make such a movie.

I mean, I can't see HOW it took around 8 years to make this movie.

All I know is I would not get Dragonball out of that trailer. Who came up with the white Goku idea?

They're trying to ruin my childhood, seriously. It looks like a not-well-thought-out action movie.

It was like some kind of awful skit. Might be of the youtube standard but certainly not something that deserves to be on the big screen.

I hope Hollywood keeps its grubby hands off Battle Royale.

Goku is an alien. Who cares if he's white? Son Goku isn't even his real name. There's nothing in the manga or anime to even indicate that he's even remotely "Asian".
