Well, it's true. In the case of Goku's character (Dragon Ball series, not the story DB was originally based on), there really isn't anything to indicate that his character is supposed to be Asian, not even his name since it was originally Kakarott.

This movie was awful however it provided a few laughs.

Oh, man where to begin? The movie just failed, at everything. Completely ruined back story, I mean seriously did they have to change just about everything? Do not think that if there is sequels it will even resemble any hint of dragon ball besides for the characters names. Oh, they even ruined the whole ki power thing too.

Interesting thing, when I went ot see it, they screwed the picture up in the beginning resulting in all previews and 5 minutes of the movie being backwards.

The only thing crappier than the movie is probably the game...

it shouldnt be live action cause remember wat happened when they turned doom into a movie it was awfull.

So, the Japanese made a live Death Note action movie and it turned out to be quite good.

Looks alright to me. A typical fighting game. How can you screw that up?

That kind of gameplay reminds me of Bloody Roar too much.
