I think if he was that seriously messed up emotionally his friends, including the band, would get him help. Also it would interfere with his work. I'm sorry but what he does isn't easy. Dir en grey is one of the most famous J-rock bands out there. He would have to have some control over himself and I bet that he dedicates most of his life towards the band.

This is just a guess. ^^; We're all entitled to our own opinions~

Exactly! I guess, a part of me also wants to believe he doesn't do it offstage because I care a lot about his health. I want to make it clear that I do not think he does it just to get a reaction from the crowd and that his cutting is fake. I think he really does feel pain when he does it. .__.
