otsukaresama?
hmm... that means like "thank you for your hard work" or something.... it's one of those japanese expressions that's really hard to translate. for example, when you leave work, you're supposed to say "osakini shitsurei shimasu" which means "i'm sorry i'm leaving first" and then the people remaining in the staffroom go "otsukarasamadeshita" (you worked hard). i've heard fans saying that to each other when i saw an Avenged Sevenfold concert in Osaka last fall, but i just thougth it was really weird to have one of the band members say that to me! lol! |

I heard only a couple songs from them but I really liked them!
And sorry if this has been mentioned/asked before, but where can I buy their CDs (if they have any)? I really need to start rebuilding my JRock collection after months of not buying anything ;-; |

yo! bringing this thread back to share the love!
(also i am lonely because they are not performing at the moment because they are working on a new album... boooh... well, yay for the new album though ) you are right, they spell it an-shi-a in katakana but all was pronounce it really quick like an-sha. sometimes aun-sha. it's supposed to be a spanish word so... but yeah, it's not like you can really mess up the pronunciation much!! ;p dvd of the one man live just came out too! aah, i have to go get it! |
