PROFILE
Billy is still an indie band who is already quite popular and have quite a number of fans. Their musical versatility allows them to not only play songs influenced by metal, blues and rock genres, but to also play impressive ballads.


BIOGRAPHY
Billy was created in November 2004 by three former members of the band BaXtsu: Yu-ki (vocals), Takuma (guitar), and Hiroshi (drums). Mine (guitar), formerly of the band Akira, joined the band too, and Tsubuku (bass) as well. In 2005, YU-KI changed his name to Baku.

They had their first, but secret performance on November 26th at the Takadanobaba area, and five more secret performances followed. Their first releases were in 2005: two demo CDs and a single, which were all distributed during their lives and in a few special shops.

Babies, Goodbye, their mini-album which was released in May, could be considered as Billy's first 'real' release because it was not only sold at lives like their previous releases, but in normal visual kei CD stores as well. Later in the same month, they had their first one-man, which was recorded, and later some footage of it was released on the DVD Nikunda Egao, which also contained their first PV.

In 2006 they released some more live-only singles and two more mini-albums: the remix album [Babies, Goodbye] Saikai [RE-MIX] and William. Their number of performances had increased a lot too in this year, and they had various tours.

In the early part of 2007, Billy released another new mini-album and a live DVD, and we’re curious to see how this band will develop in the future!

I think I know them, they look awfully familiar,especially, the one in the very middle. Anyways, I look forward to their advancement and I hope to tour with them in the future as well.
