Which is your favorite Johnny's band?

I'll have to see if I'm familiar with any of these groups.

These are among the 10 most popular boy-bands in Japan, SMAP is the oldest, with their debut in the 90s and Hey! Say! JUMP! is the most recent. Their debut was last year. Every member was born after 1989, or the Heisei period.

Oh, ok.

I should probably see what they sound like, but stuff on youtube doesn't go fast enough.

I like KAT-TUN O_O
Their latest works have been AWESOME.

Especially Jin's solo-song, ''LOVEJUICE'' and the song it came with ''DON'T U EVER STOP''.

I have to admit I'm a sucker for V6. :D

asouatiqah@ What makes a group 'good' is not necessarily the vocal performances. If the members have unique personalities and in general just seem to be awesome like that, they can fast become ones favorite. I do agree with you though. According to myself only Bakanishi and Kazuya can sing. >_<

Well yeah they formed in the 1990's which isn't that old but to me most people in their 40's aren't ikemen >_<

I defintely went with KAT-TUN listened to them awhile ago.

No one in SMAP is in their 40s.

And Takuya Kimura is still in the top popularity lists despite being the ancient age of 37. (Shingo is only 32.)

Only ones I know are Kinki Kids... I used to hear them non-stop in a shop I worked because the manager was in love with them. "Everybody sing with us, Kinki Kids forever"... Damn, that tune was so catchy, I still remember it :eek:

Top popularity lists maybe but I think most of SMAP's fans are middle aged women..

And my to prefer in the group is Shigeaki Kato (it's my :rheart: )

Even if that were true (which it isn't if you look at any audience shot at thier live shows) I am not sure what difference that would make.

Ha! I knew this thread had to exist somewhere. x3 I'm a KAT-TUN girl, but I like pretty much all the bands. ...Except for K8. They scare me a little.

KAT-TUN or Arashi. I don't know but i voted for Arashi, Cuz that PV of Truth is so cool XD.
But on the other hand One Drop <3 mmh ¬¬

KAT-TUN I like their songs... and i also Like Hey! Say! JUMP ;>

have you ever head "Kizuna"? it's one of Kamenashi-san's old songs, but i'm absolutely in love with it. the live version where they all sing it is actually better in my opinion.

i vote for NEWS haha been a crazy fangirl of tegoshi yuya before though i prefer korean boybands now haha :))

@junko44 i like kame's "someday for somebody" better than "kizuna". esp. the performance in cartoon KATTUN II you concert.

i'm crazy about arashi

in fact i'm all over them i love them soo much

love their show their drama their movies

their songs their PVs

and the most important thing i love their relationship together

they are like 5 brothers

i love this band because of their strong ties and relationship with each other and we can see that in most of arashi's TV shows

I feel well old school, I do love the first 4 [smap maybe not so much!]

My favorite Johnny's band is the Arashi.
Then KAT-TUN (Kame <3) and Kanjani8 are coming close second. Both of them.^^

Otherwise, I like all the others but Tokio... and especially KinKi Kids and NewS

I'm not much into such pop-ish music, but I do love arashi ^_^.

I like them, because they aren't just sweet j-pop, but they combine different styles. For example, their new song "No More Pain" is such an angst & is rythmic, but hard (love it!:rheart: )
And also they dance great, they're very positive (who watched Cartoon KAT-TUN knows it XD), hardworking, they have breathtaking tours & yeah, they're handsome (of course, since I'm a girl that's a big deal XDDD). :mtongue:

But other bands are also cool. Kanjani8 make me rofl for hours :D NEWS are too sweet for me, but Tego's voice is omg. In Arashi Ohno Satoshi is my love, but also all of them are nice.

I'm listening to j-pop much more than to all other music. I guess I've fallen in love with the language because of the songs. They sound so beautiful! *__*:rheart:

I would have to say Arashi. They're music is pretty catchy. They're good singers, dancers, actors, and they're pretty funny. It's not really suprising how popular they are.

Arashi fan here. Used to be a fan of SMAP, but only for their variety shows, not for the music. :P
