The band started out as a duo with Atsushi Horie (vocals/guitar) and Shinpei Nakayama (drums) in 1998. They established an independent label named Ghost Records in 2002. Hidekazu Hinata joined the band as bassist in 2003, giving the band a heavier sound. Dose anyone like this band? The band's vocalist Atsushi is very good friends with the pillows' Sawao Yamanaka, Asian Kung-Fu Generation's Masafumi Goto and Ellegarden's Takeshi Hosomi. The band now has four members and is setting a date for there new album nexus in march this year.

What is their name in Romaji?

It's Straightener. but some people get confused about the name and think your looking for Black Sabbath.

i guess Black Sabbath made a song called straightener or something so i stay with ストレイテナー.

Huh. I've never heard of that song.

I dont know. But ストレイテナー is a really great band and im hoping to find people who like it as much as i do. They made there own version of one of the pillows songs called runners high. So did ellegarden called funny bunny.
