so i have good news for you all...
Maru is ALIVE, not dead (lol obviously) and he has a few new tattoos too! he's in a few pics on Tsukasa and Shunsuke's blogs from Shunsuke's blog    from Tsukasa's blog  and speaking of new tattoos, Tsukasa got one too!  i always cry out with the music filled with memories of the four seasons....
