Meh.. I think it's a bit stupid too. If you're using an J for Japanese pop or vocals you should also use for example an A for American pop or vocals.. It's just weird to use an J, K or C to refer to Asian things and not do the same to other countries in the world..

Yeah! Jdrama makes sense,Jpop is sometimes used to describe anime songs if people don't know what anime it's from which I wouldn't quite call Jpop but J-Vocals?! ''What are the J-lyrics? I think I'll have some J-orange juice!
Oh man,I've been J-robbed!'' C-pop could be mixed up with Cambodia or California.
