Question Singer/Songwriter - 09-30-2016, 10:31 AM

I am searching for some singer/songwriters like YUI, Miwa and Takahashi Yuu. Do you guys have some recommondations?

Nishino, Kana is a very popular singer/song writer though I do not like her so much.

Arai, Yumi or Matsutoya, Yumi (married) is the legend of JPOP and also a singer/song writer.

It is not fair to call only Yumi as "legend".

I should recommend other two girls (why girls only?).

Nakajima, Miyuki is another legend.



Takeuchi, Mariya had been retired but wrote many good songs.

I should list up Japanese male singer/song writers.

Kuwata, Keisuke wrote huge amount of big hits in Japan with his band "Southern All Stars".



Fukuyama, masaharu is also is very popular singer/song writer and actor.
He married last year and many female fun fell into depression.



Yamazaki, Masayoshi wites good songs and also plays guitar well.

I have forgotten an important girl.

Utada, Hikaru actually retired several years ago and came back while she is still 33 years old.

She was 14 or 15 yo when she made debut.


And now she is 33yo.
