SUMO: General Admission Tickets
 

Hi All
I will be visiting Tokyo soon (23-28/01/09) and hope to go to the January Grand Basho. On the official sumo wrestling site, under tickets information, there is something called a 'General Admission Ticket', of which 350 are available each day on a first come first served basis and they cost Y2100 per ticket. However, the site does not say what this type of ticket is actually good for. Should I be lucky enough to buy one, will it allow me to watch the wrestling and ceremonies etc?
Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Yea, go ahead and buy one and experience the situation!

These are probably the worst tickets available. If you can afford it, splurge for a seated ticket. It is an experience.
