Metal Gear Solid 4
 

Hey i've been playing it non stop since it came out. any other metal gear solid fans here? lets discuss it!!!! :vsign:

My beef with metal gear? When I buy a game I want a GAME. Not a movie with interactive fillers.

It may have long cutscenes but it got good reviews around the board so I'm sure it's good. If I had a PS3 I'd get it.

screw you, the cut scenes aren't that long, and they're a need for this series, maybe you just don't like it cause you're no intellectually ready for a game like this:vsign:

i've already gone half way through the game the second time around..the replay value is amazing

Is it good enough to justify buying a PS3 for? I have a 360 and was planning on getting the PS3 when the next God of War comes out.

Japan apparently sold 77k MGS4 PS3 bundles on the first day.

I'd say this game is worth it in every way. It has the key element that most games these days are sorely lacking. Immersion.

The story is just so deep and immersive. Really can draw you into the game and just get you hooked.

MGS games drive the players to keep on playing, most of the time. However, it seems to me that there is too little gameplay between cutscenes. I've only played about 2 hours in, but I would've liked more gameplay (I think more than 1 hour is non-gameplay stuff out of my 2 hours). But the game rocks. I like the Gears of War touch it has to it when you're shooting. I just with the controls would've been slightly better (I think they react too slowly).

I absolutely love Metal Gear Solid. I haven't been able to play MGS4 yet, though. :( Right now I\'m playing through MGS3 Snake Eater.

I got the limited edition :P. Well, i am trying to get big boss emblem in the game, the hardest task on the game, only began but i am playing mostly online now.
