I've been gaming since I was two years old. I have a SNES, N64, PSX, PS2, Gamecube, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Micro, GBA, GBA:SP, DS, DS Lite, Wii, Xbox 360.

And I'm saving up for a DSi.

My room is covered in posters and merchandise of video games.

I don't really understand the big deal around girls and video games? It's just another hobby or something to do when bored and millions of people play video games, some of them are boys, and some are girls. Why do girls feel it necessary to point out that they're *shockhorror* a gamer and a girl? :rolleyes: Ridiculous.

Next we'll need to declare it if we listen to rock music or go into a clothing shop that sells menswear.

Why not - "Yes I play video games" instead of "Yes I play video games... and i'm a girl ;) " ... ? I dunno, I just always it pretty stupid.

Yes, I'm a Texas girl (woman, actually) who is also a gamer. And all of my chars in any game are female.. I actually have tried to play a male character twice... but it just didn't... feel right... :confused:
