No, I mean with a valid visa. That`s it.
You can come as an English teacher if that`s your thing, or you can come as an exchange student... Or as a graduate student. Or enter a company that has offices in Japan. Or try for a military post in Japan. Or get a job involved with the embassy... Or... etc etc.
