English----->Japanese Language exchange - 11-25-2009, 06:51 PM

Hello my name is Travis, and I am looking for a native Japanese speaker who would like to learn English, or brush up on their English language skills. I am in the elementary Japanese class right now, so I don't know a lot about the Japanese language or culture. Although I am still new to this language, I am willing to study hard. Please reply to this thread if your interested.

You're Japanese and you don't know how to write "hello" correctly in Japanese?

It's こんにち, not こんにち.

英語やるのもいいけど、それ以前に日本語もがんばって ね。

Although you are right about your correction in relation to writing "konnichiwa (konnitiha)", almost all of the Japanese people write it as: こんにちわ in the internet slang. To be more precise, I've NEVER met someone who write it as: こんにちは in the internet language! The former one looks really dumb! It is quite foolish to write it that way as if it is taihen for them to type 'ha' while pronouncing it as 'wa'!

PS: I am still waiting to tyt masaegu kun (Also I live ur attempts to protect Nihongo and make people follow the proper rules when writing it!)
