I'm 36 y/o JF living in Tokyo.
Since I may be able to study abroad from this May, perhaps in the United States, I've looked for a serious study partner.
Hopefully someone... native English speakers from US.
(Honestly, I prefer Brit accent, though)
I can help with writing or reading.

It's exciting that you may be able to study abroad! I know I was excited when I went to Japan!

I'm 25 years old and living on the East Coast of the United States. I've been helping out some other Japanese speakers too, so I think I can give you a hand assuming we can find time to talk over Skype. I have also studied Japanese for 4 years, but it's been a while and I could use some practice as well.

My Skype id is the same as here, filiadragongurl. I plan on being on it nights and mornings over weekends since Japan is 14 hours ahead of my time. If you are around, drop me a line. I will send you a PM too since you wrote this thread a while ago.

It's possible that I will need to add your name to skype before I can see you. Often an invitation won't work for me at all. Please send me a private message with your skype ID so that I can add you too :)

Not to accuse you of lying, but if your skype name is really "kokeinoniwa", it says you are from England and speak English. May I ask why?

Hi.
Simply because I had been fed up with a guy from France.
At first he seemed like he really wanted to study Japanese, but it was my misunderstanding.
He just seeks an easy love and tried to access me pretending another person over and over again after I blocked him.
Then I uninstalled Skype and installed again and register totally different information as my profile, just chose a very popular name in England.
If you don't like those behaviors, I understand that.
You can find other study friends on this site.

I've just added you to my skype contact list:S Actually, there are a huge number of people desiring to study Japanese and you can find some language exchange partner quickly! Even experts in teaching English as a foreign language:D Plus, no one has the right to intervene in your own privacy!

Thank you for responding, Evie-san. There are a bunch of people on these forums that pretend to be Japanese, but really aren't. That's why I asked and I hope you aren't upset at me for it ^_^;

I'm sorry for your troubles on Skype. That sounds like a real headache!! Maybe you can report the guy to Skype somehow.

Anyway, I'll be around all weekend, so maybe we can talk :) Good luck finding lots of people to study with!
