Would anyone like to chat with me in Japanese? ^.^

Hello~!

I've been studying Japanese for over a year now and I would really like someone to exchange e-mails with in Japanese or chat with on MSN.

You do not have to be a native Japanese speaker, it's even OK if you know less Japanese than me. ^.^ I would just like someone to write to, like a penpal, because I think it's the best way to practice Japanese sentences, and of course, it's always nice to meet new people with similar interests! :)

Please respond if you are interested! ^.^

I like everything to do with Japan (culture, manga, music, anime, food, technology, etc. etc. ) so I'm sure we'll find something to talk about!

よろしくね!

こんにちは みな :ywave:

Hi I'm rather new to this forum, like as in been a member for one day. But any ways I agree that it would be a great way to practice Japanese. I also know a little Japanese, and would also like to practice it... though I'll admit it right now, I'm not super good at it lol.

Also, I also like most things to do with Japan :vsign:

I'm not sure if that's something you would want to actively advertize.

Why not? I don't think there's anything wrong with two people who are not natives practicing a language. It's not easy to find a native speaker to practice with you, plus you feel less pressure when making mistakes if the other person is learning the language as well.

Who is going to correct your mistakes, then?

Unless you're talking about a brand-new foreign language learning method that I haven't even heard of, it just puzzles me is all.

It's not easy to find a native speaker to practice with? Some of your fellow members found native speakers to speak to on Day One in the following threads.

Hello!

I am interested in practicing my Japanese as well. I am studying to try to be good enough to pass the JLPT level 4. I have many textbooks and resources as well if you would like to share assignments and activities.

Thanks,

-Melissa
