living in nagoya anyone???/

I lived in Nagoya for about a year, half of it in by my university in Showa-ku, and the other half with a host family in the Seto area. I've been to most of Japan's major cities, and I have to say I think I liked Nagoya the best. Lots of parks and scenery intermixed within the city, unlike Tokyo, which is just a concrete mess of buildings and people.

I live in Ama-gun, which is about as close to living in Nagoya as possibly without actually being in the city... And is also closer to Nagoya station than about 75% of actual Nagoya. :P (less than 10 minutes by car, 3 stations away on the regular train...)
