i guess this would go here. how common is it in japan to see people dressed vk? is it common to see alot of people? is it only big cities?

the younger crowd certainly do dress like that, however im not sure how common it really is to see em, more common in big cities

well, dir en grey used to dress VK..lol. i know that lots of people wear visual kei clothes in tokyo...thats about it..but idk. thats mostly cosplaying.

You could say that. :) Most Cosplay in Harajuku, as far as I know...
