How many ppl from Japan are in this Forum registred

Okay, hello to all...

I'm new in this Forum, i just registred here because i wanted to chat with some ppl who are from japan...

I don't mean the people who are from canada or where ever and just live there, i meant the REAL japanese , who are born there and live there since the "beginning"...

so, tell me ^^ who is a real japanese?

Nagoyankee 03-17-2008 01:05 AM

I am one, and there seems to be only a few others here.

Yea, I agree. Maybe I should start posting replies in Japanese to see how many people would understand and respond.

I would really appreciate it if you did! :3 That's the only way people can practice is by sitting down and figuring it out. There's no reason anyone can't look up a word or phrase.

I would never actually complain if people did respond in Japanese, seems somewhat expected in these types of forums. And I also really appreciate that native Japanese people ARE here, because they're probably here to help other people more so than for their own benefit. But that being said:

Gimme a break! If you want to look up some Japanese words and phrases, try this. More Japanese words and phrases than you can shake a stick at. :-) Nobody needs to create new ones due to lack of practice material.

Sometimes, for complex and important topics, you want or maybe even need to truly understand something. It's helpful and reassuring to have a resource in your native language* like this, in case that 1% that you accidentally misinterpreted in the name of trying your best wound up being key.

* I realize this isn't everyone's native language, but I assume there are also resources similar to this in other languages.
