Heh, yeah. I just started my 2-month summer job so I'm occupied atleast haha, but that doesn't stop me from beeing distracted all the time, thinking about stuff I'm gonna do in Tokyo :>

Oh and yeah, youre right tommasi - 1 hr commutes sure are common. I myself had almost an hour commute when I went to language school in Kudanshita (lived in J&F house @ Kita-Koshigaya). But as I then found out, there are gazzilions of guest houses all over Tokyo. So this time, I'm going to try and get a more central living location

Haha hey another coincidence--I also lived in a J&F affiliated apartment (JAPT.) when I
went to language school in Takadanobaba as well haha...

I got a dual bachelor's degree in magazine journalism and psychology. My school's journalism program is pretty reputable within the US, but now that I've left the States, it sort of renders it useless haha.

And thanks for the sites! I don't know why I didn't think of checking Craigslist. Just a brief skim through it and I already found this great site.

Craigslist has more detailed ads but gaijinpot has more posts.

I used to post ads on craigslist only but since it is an American site, response was limited to only Americans and I was simply not getting enough replies.

So I started to use gaijinpot more often cos it is pretty well-known among foreigners in Japan.

You should hit as much ads as possible cos not everybody responds and the key is to actually go down there to take a look.

Also just a friendly reminder, it's written スウェーデン not スヴェーデン.
