Of course the mods would much rather you refresh an old thread than start a new thread if you have something to add, and for that I say thank you.

At the same time, it isn't hard to see when the last time someone was online. As I have said to other people, if you are too busy to do this much, then you are probably too busy to be on JF.

Again, you had legit points, and I am glad you brought them up. I am sorry if I cam across too harsh.

Not a problem MMM.

I take everything with a pinch of salt unless it's violence;)

I've just been enjoying your blog:)

There are places where birth control pills are over-the-counter and you don't need a prescription? I never heard that before.

And is japan really expensive to live in? some people have told me that so i have started saving now as i doubt i could find a job when i move out there.

There are music scenes in every city. Let's say you choose Tokyo, it is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in, yes. But the problem isn't going to be the money, but your visa. Without a job or employer, you would only be able to stay in Japan for 90 days. I would start thinking about ways to make yourself employable. One of those is finishing college.

I see people all the time saying stuff like "I'm going to go to Japan and become a (insert extremely unlikely occupation here)"

But they never think of the most important thing... your visa.
If you want to be anything in Japan, you must have a visa. It should be the first thing you think about when you decide to move to Japan.

to the person who wrote that; theres nothing wrong with having a dream even if you find it extremely unlikey! sorry for having more ambition than wanting to work at Tesco! anywho i dont have to go into detail about it cause i dont have to explain myself to you! i didnt come on this thread to be slammed by other people i came to ask advice from the woman who started this thread who has been very helpful!

and to the other person (who i dont have a problem with by the way, your way of putting it is less judgemental! ;) )i do know about the whole visa thing, and im not at college, i work full time, i ment that i might find it hard to find a job to earn the money to live by because i cant speak the language fluently!
