tEACING eNGRISH iN cHIBA

Sup JF cyberspacers,

I'm going to be teaching for AEON Corporation in Chiba starting August 21st of this year. This will be my first time living abroad, so if there are any advice about teaching, living, experiencing Japan, please post or p.m. me.

Also would like to know past experiences from past English teachers as well, whether they worked for AEON, JET, or other language based companies.

And lastly, if there any teachers within the Chiba area, please p.m. Would be nice to make a few friends during my stay.

Thanks for the inputs and hope to hear from you soon.

Generally being a foreigner in Japan will entitle you to make many friends be they English speaking or from other nationalities. I have found most people are curious about foreigners even us foreigners. You'll have fun.

...though I respectfully suggest you first figure out your caps lock key on your keyboard and spell it "English" and not "Engrish".

Have fun!

I'm in Togane, which is in Chiba prefecture (near the beach). Where exactly is your school located? My GF lives in Tokyo, so I'm in the city every weekend, I often take the Sobu train through Chiba City to get to Tokyo station.

I see you live in Anaheim, I went to school there (an eternity ago).

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
