Temple University Japan (TUJ)

A TUJ rep came to my classroom and talked about their school. Until now, I haven't heard of it. Has anyone graduated from TUJ here? I'm keeping it open as an option on what I should do next. Just want some honest opinions to see if its worth the money (googled an average of 30k/yr.), worth the opportunity cost of going to a local state school instead, learning Japanese fluently, and how is the business program? Of course I have more questions and look it up on the website, but I want some honest reviews and not advertising testimonials.

What draws my attention to TUJ is that its an American University located in Japan. If not TUJ, is there anyone that has been to a university in Japan similar to this?

It is a very famous and highly reputable university. I have never attended.

I studied abroad at TUJ for a semester and it is a fantastic school. I should be able to answer pretty much any question you have about it :)

No doubt it would be cool to study in Japan, but $30,000 a year is incredibly steep. If you want to study at an American college, why not study in your home state (very affordable), then work on a year long study abroad?

I paid about $12,000 for a semester which included housing, so the tuition for a year should be more like $25,000, which is a hell of a lot better then $30,000
