Work in Japan

Hi friends haw are you
im Firas from Tunisia i want to have an adventure in Japan i want to go there for one year or more and try to live there
i want you to advice me

do you think that i can work pastry there

cuz im learning it now
im learning haw to cook french pastry like cakes all types and pizza all types and many other western pastry and sweets

i will have a diploma not a big diploma just fore informing that i can do pastry
do you think that will help me to find a work easly there ?

Getting a Visa is a pretty hard thing to do, especially if you're going there for something like pastry-making.

But I assume that if you visit Japan and go to as many businesses as possible and have them sample you're pastries, and if by some stroke of luck they are just tasty enough, they may just sponsor you and help you get a visa. That seems unlikely because I'm sure there are tons of Japanese chefs... I'm not sure though, maybe someone has worked in the field.

To be sponsored for a work visa, your sponsor company needs to be able to show the government you are worthy of being allowed in Japan. This means you have a special skill that a Japanese person doesn't have. 95% of the time that is English teaching...but it could be pastry making, if you are incredibly good and can convince a bakery that the hassle of getting you sponsorship is really worth it.

Or you can marry a Japanese lady.

I think you should start out as a teacher and then somehow weasel your way into the Japanese pastry industry.

i want to live in Tokyo but the life in Tokyo is more expansive
