Good luck! I'd certainly like to hear about it when you get the e-store off the ground!

Previous experience in running an online store makes me say this: Be absolutely certain how much items cost you to post to your customers, wherever they may be. Be aware of any steps in your postal service's charges (i.e. does it suddenly jump up ten Euros when you go from 1.99kg to 2kg?), and research all postage options (e.g. posting certain kinds of items may be eligible for a reduced postage fare, getting a franking machine may offer a long-term discount, etc).

Finally, horrid as it seems, you MUST ensure that you cover the costs of your business. If posting an order to a customer costs you five Euros, you MUST charge your customer those five Euros, one way or another. Include the cost of your packaging materials in those calculations. Business cannot survive on kindness alone.
