Jyugawakoe in Tokyo
 

Hello, this one is for anyone in Tokyo. Anyone know of an area called jyugawakoe or juugawakoe? I'm trying to find it on a map or something, but I can't see it anywhere. I assume it's a small neighborhood in the southwest part of the 23 special wards, but I'm not sure. It may be some variation like jukawagoe or something too? I am not so great at listening comprehension yet ><

I don`t know of anywhere with that name, and don`t live in Tokyo so can`t really help look for it... But I can provide a clue that might help someone else.

It is probably something-gawa kouen (～川公園). If it is not, it doesn`t really sound like a Japanese place name.

It will be Jiyugaoka you are thinking of. It is in Meguro ward, which is in the southwest of Tokyo. It sounds like you have it confused partly with Kawagoe, which is in Saitama.

As stated by Nyororin, the name you have sounds horrible. :)

I'm suspecting the Jiyuugaoka-Kouen, a park in Meguro Ward. But since you said it was "an area", it might be Jiyuugaoka, which is the name of the area this park is located.

That does sound MUCH better. I am not familiar with Tokyo so assumed that maybe the gawa bit was right, which would leave koe for kouen. Didn`t think of jiyuu for juu. :D
