I am creating a short, printable pamphlet for students who are, or have been, part of student exchange programs, study abroad programs or simply international students. What I need is any and all questions you had that were hard to find answers for before you came to Japan, as well as those "wow, I wish I'd know about that 6 months ago" experiences. (As an example, average rent costs in Kyoto and what to expect).

I wish I had been told I should take my own towel around for drying my hands in the restroom after washing them. O.o Fixed that real quick though.
