Pre paid cards
 

Hey everyone,

I'm living in Japan at the moment for 6 months, leaving at the end of March. I recently lost my blackberry phone, and after finding the bill for it going through the roof, I had to cancel it's contract, as it's been a month and the police have never been able find it.

I'd like to buy a keitai (A docomo casio CA-01C exilm) and then buy a prepaid card- one that focuses mostly on internet and SMS messages. I don't have a Gaijin card yet though.

Is it possible for me to find a pre paid card that fits this criteria, as a Gaijin?

going through normal channels I don't think it is possible but try going to Akihabara, there are some stores there that sell 2nd hand phone, am not sure about pre-paid cards though.
As far I remember, unless u have your ARC, most phone companies will not sell u a phone.
