Hi ,
i am new to this forum and would be very grateful for any help i can get regarding Interac. Me and my boyfriend are thinking of applying to Interac to do a years teaching in Japan. A few of my close friends are thinking of applying also. I just have a few questions really regarding how they trat couple. As me and my partner are applying together we would only really go if we were placed in same area and could live together. How do interac treat couples in these situations? Has anyone had any experience with this? i know that the japanese do not place much value of boyfriend/girlfreind couples , only marries couples but me and my partner have been together for 11 years and want to share this experience together. Also , i was just wondering how they place people? we would love to live in an urban area quite close to tokyo ,1 to 1.5 hours away on train, how willing are they to place you where you have requested and when do you know where you are placed before you leave for japan? i was wondering if anyone could tell me about the apartments i would likey to be living in in japan. I know that Interac do not provide you with an apartment and you have to find one yourself. How easy is this? Where would i start to look? are there any good websites i can see what they are like and cost etc. Also , what is the air conditioning like in thses apartments as i would need it for thereally hot summer! do mostapartments have it? Thank you in advance for any help, i really appreciate it !!!!! |

Hi, I am living in Japan. My husband is American. When he came to Japan, he started to work for private company in Japan to teach Englsh. Maybe he can help you guys what to do. Also we have a friend who was Jet program teacher. I can ask him too, and also we are running International school in Saitama Japan. If you are interested in teaching English please let me know. Where are you guys from? I would love to speak with you about living in Japan.
