Because I live in Tokyo. And I am willing to help out. If you are here to troll me, then go away. But, if you are here to really find an answer, then I dont mind helping or calling around in Tokyo to find the answer. Can you clarify what a visum is?

I am not. But I was raised in Kyoto and went to international school. I would never go, nor will i ever send my children to a Japanese school. 99% of all gijin here send their kids to Inter. Schools or British/American schools. I personally as an American will send my kid to a British school.

ok, cool. But what about University level? do you know anything about student life there? cos im going to an exchange in Tokyo (had kyoto as my other choice), and to be honest. i don't know what to expect. here in france/england uni life is kinda laid back... i usualy have 1 year holiday and study just for one month before exams and i still manage to fly by... is that possible in japan? cos i'd rather be visiting sites and doing things rather than staying in lectures all day

This depends yeah.... If you go to Sophia or Temple then you will have a great time. If you are at Toudai or Gakushuin then be prepaired to study your ass off. Do you have a University in mind?
