I don't know, I was too shy in high school to chat with the exchange students in my Japanese class (which I regret now) even though it would have been a great learning experience on both sides. Maybe I should take the chance now.

Agreed with Arikado and Koir. Must be some kind of otaku IP blocker or firewall. I'm baffled. At the same time, I have a few people I think could be behind this ;)

I don't consider myself an otaku although I do like anime and manga but its not out of balance with the other things I do. Anyway, hit me up if you'd like to chat. Be wary of the "others" on here. They may drown you.

The OP didn't mention anything about anime, j-pop, manga or anything otaku.
