Mature Japanese Friends - 01-03-2009, 05:40 PM

I am very interested in Japanese culture and society. I am from Nepal originally and have been living in UK for the last 20 years. I am married to British lady with 3 children. I would like to make a friend in Japan. I am particulary interested in the countryside of Japan. I am happy to help in learning English too in whatever way I can.

I would suggest an e-mail or snail mail penpal.

How do I go about getting contact details though? I was hoping that I would be able to meet Japanese people in this forum. What is a snail mail - letters by post?

Snail mail is letters by postal mail. If you just Google "Japanese penpals", or something along those lines, plenty of other sites will pop-up.
