Looking for an electronic penpal
 

Hello all my potential friends! I'm a 24 year old guy looking for some English-speaking friends, Japanese or non, who live permanently in Japan and would be able to give some insight on the community they live in. :)

Preferably, I'd like to talk to someone who lives in the Tokyo area, who can commute regularly to the inner city if need be (I'm planning a trip to Japan sometime in the next year and would like to have a tour guide for the duration of my trip). Someone around my age would be nice, as we would enjoy the same type of experiences together.

A woman WOULD be nice! :D But I'm really just looking for a friend, someone I can find out more about the Japanese culture, heritage, and society. Someone who would like to "hang out" if I ever do arrive in Japan, or for when the time comes, I could converse in Japanese with, learn Kanji, hirigana, etc., off of, and the like. I'll have a lot of free time over the next year (Iraq >>), and would love to keep in touch with someone over there!
